With regards to SDGs, Toyota Tsusho Group established Key Sustainability Issues (Materiality) that can contribute to sustainable society. In our business fields, we are working on next mobility, renewable energy and circular economy businesses, as well as ensuring safety & compliance and pursuing human resources development that contributes to sustainable society.
In the same way, we believe that our role as a company is not only to look at social issues but also to create new needs and provide new joy and happiness.
Our company advocates being “on site, hands on, in touch (Genchi, Genbutsu, Genjitsu)”, a trading company business people who wear helmets and safety boots. We want to work on business creation through ourselves directly being in various places in the society and talking with people working in the front lines, grasping needs, and thinking about what kind of happiness we can provide. We want to be an entity that will still be needed by society even 50 or 100 years from now.
